Here are some answers to FAQ’s:

Harbor Tours: The boat is a 20′ center console and is limited to four customers per trip. Additionally, Capt. Avery will be on board, however there will not be a first mate.
Sailing Trips: The boat is a 15′ Marshall Sandpiper. Due to the restrictions of a small-er sailboat, there is a limit of two customers, a third could be accommodated if they are small and/or extremely agile. Call to discuss...

How long are the trips?
Trips are 2 hours long.
Is there a head (toilet) on board?
Nope. However, on Harbor Tours (motorboat) we are usually just 10 minutes away from the dock in an emergency situation. Sailing Trips are a bit more complicated as sailboats don’t move that fast…
Do you offer spaces on group trips?
No, my trips are booked by a single client/group.
What do I need to bring?
Hat, sunglasses, appropriate clothing are required. Rain gear if showers are in the forecast.
I am uncomfortable on a rocky and rolling boat, should I go out with you?
Typically we are on the relatively calm waters of Barnstable Harbor and nearby Cape Cod Bay, nevertheless, conditions can change suddenly. If just a little bit of rock & roll puts you on edge, I’d recommend staying at the beach.
What if I book a trip and I my plans change? Will I lose my deposit?
You will receive a full refund for your deposit for cancellations up to 14 days before the trip.
Weather cancellations are at the discretion of Captain Avery. If your charter is cancelled due to poor weather conditions and we are unable to reschedule your trip then your deposit will be fully refunded. Sailing trips could become Harbor Tours on the motor boat if there is a lack or overkill of wind with the agreement of the client and captain.
