Saturday, April 11th, 9:30-1pm, the Friends of Barnstable Harbor is hosting its 1st State of the Harbor event! The event will be held at the Barnstable Comedy Club, Barnstable Village.
This friend-raising event is being organized by Capt. Avery Revere. This year’s event will feature presentations by representatives from other local non-profit organizations and the Town of Barnstable: Center for Coastal Studies, Barnstable Land Trust, and Town of Barnstable DPW.
Topics covered at this event include marsh restoration, information on Barnstable Harbor’s recent Habitat Mapping Survey, water quality monitoring, and more.
STATE OF THE HARBOR
There will be information tables featuring (BARS) Barnstable Recreational Shellfishing, Commercial Shellfishing, Town of Barnstable Natural Resources, and books by local authors.
Coffee & refreshments will be served.
